I paddled from Hay River to Tuktoyaktuk in 5 weeks in June-July 2009, it was the most exhilarating experience in my life.
Before the trip I was quite anxious, because first I was alone and second it was my first experience with a canoe. But Doug and Theresa`s assured attitude made me feel comfortable.
The organizational part of my trip was perfect, even it was holiday they opened the store for me and boarded me, showed me all the good campsites along the river and when I got to the Tuktoyaktuk, I left the canoe at NTCL and that was it, I was free.
Now I am trying to persuade my wife to do the same trip together.
