The pan ice is pretty much gone. Weather has been good and it is time to paddle. Four groups arriving this week to Paddle the Mackenzie.

Mackenzie River is clear.
Great Slave lake still has its ice pan but it is starting to candle. There is a shore lead
that you can paddle
If the wind blows from the north then it pushes against the south shore so you need to walk or in this case bike.
We are having lots of sun and wind and this will help in breaking up the ice pan
